At St Andrew’s we enjoy freshly prepared, hot lunches every day.
Our meals are cooked at Northleach kitchen and then brought to us, in thermal boxes, for 12 noon. We have a heated trolley to keep our food lovely and hot. Edwards and Ward are the contractors, providing three main choices a day, one always being vegetarian. Freshly baked bread, fresh fruit and vegetable crudities and a pudding are provided everyday. All ingredients are as locally sourced as possible.

There is a change of menu through the seasons and we can accommodate any special dietary need.
We run themed days where we can all enjoy special occasions together, such as:
SPECIAL EVENTS LIKE THE QUEEN’S JUBILEE OR THE ROYAL WEDDING.
CURRICULUM THEMED LUNCHES SUCH AS INDIAN, CHINESE OR ITALIAN.
The cost of the lunches are £2.20 per day and we use Parent Pay to pay for them. We are very flexible, and children can have hot lunches as often as they want. If they don’t have hot lunch they bring a packed lunch. All the children sit to eat in our fabulous hall and it is just like a big family meal. In the nice, hot summer weather, we set up outside to enjoy the sun and beautiful countryside around us.
We encourage our children to drink water all day long and they all have water bottles in the classrooms so they can drink when they want.
We are also part of the Cool Milk scheme, where the children can have milk at morning break. This is free for under fives.
