Welcome to St Andrew's
Church of England (VA) Primary School
Welcome to St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School and Pre School. A rural primary school, in a truly wonderful village setting which is at the centre of the community.
We are extremely proud to be one of the first Net Zero schools in the UK and we are constantly striving to change our daily habits to ensure we have a sustainable school for future generations.
In 2022, our governors took on a Pre School provision, further enhancing our links with our local families and supporting our future generations. Please visit our Pre School page to find out the latest information and policies.
We are a thriving, friendly school, with lots going on. Choosing a school for your child is far from easy but if you are looking for a school that celebrates children in a truly caring and secure way please contact us for a visit. Our most recent SIAMS inspection reported: “Virtuous pastoral care is genuinely supportive of all pupils and adults and their mental health and well-being. Staff tirelessly support one another, the pupils and their families, enabling all to flourish.”
Inclusion is an important part of our culture here at St Andrew’s and we truly believe every child matters. We nurture our children to achieve their very best. Relationships are based on trust, respect and forgiveness, where every child will feel safe and happy.
We are proud of our school and the rich range of learning and creative educational experiences we provide. Our staff are dedicated and perform at truly an outstanding level, for all the children. We offer the very best start to a child’s education, aiming to provide our children with opportunities to establish a lifelong love of learning.
We are lucky to have a large school space comprising of 4 spacious classrooms, a library area and a brilliant school hall. Take a look at our school using this virtual tour: https://view.ricohtours.com/77022bbd-9263-4c91-897b-2a1739cd9165
