Our Classes
Our class names reflect the wonderful, rural environment we are luckily based within and the trees that grow in our school grounds. We are truly blessed to have such beautiful and extensive grounds.
Ash class is our pre school class, this is known as the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and is children's first experience of school. Please see the separate class page for more information. They are mixed with Oak class at certain points throughout the day.
Oak class is a mixed aged class of reception and Year 1 pupils. They are taught by Mrs H Hart (two days) and Mrs H Padget (three days).

Rowan class is a mixed aged class with Year 2 and Year 3 pupils taught by Mrs L Pearson (SENDco) and supported by our teaching partners.
Sycamore class is a mixed aged class with Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 pupils. They are taught by Mr L Gingell and supported by our teaching partners.

Writing
At St Andrew's C of E we teach writing with the support of writing consultant, "I am a Clever Writer". Children use a wide variety of texts as a basis for their writing and develop writing checklists to independently edit and improve their own writing.
