School Opening Hours

Schools hours from September 2023

As a result of the national proposal for all schools to be open for 32.5 hours a week, which was recently announced by the Secretary of State for Education; we have been considering the start and end of day timings for pupils from September 2023.  The length of our current school day means our school week is slightly shorter than the proposed 32.5 hours.

Following a parent consultation, the schools hours from September 2023 will be:

Monday to Friday:

Start: 8.45am  Finish: 3.15pm

Total School Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Pupils can start coming into school at 8.30am.  Registration is at 8.45am and by this time all children should be settled in class.  Breakfast club operates from 8.00am to 8.30am.

If you arrive after 8.45am, please come to the school office to sign your child in.

School ends at 3.15pm.

After school care is available until 5.00pm subject to a pre-booked place.
